SECURSERVER™ - COMMAND CENTER FOR PROTECTED DATA & DRIVES

Comprehensive Management of Encrypted Drives and Data

Our SecurServer™ software is a web based application that Security Officers, IT Administrators, and Compliance Officers can access to track any information or devices that have been encrypted by SecurMedia™, SecurFlash™, SecurWrap™ and SecurScan™. When users are creating or accessing encrypted data, drives and email protected by our products, their activities and actions can be optionally tracked by our SecurServer management application. Administrators can configure organizational security policies through the SecurServer such as strong passwords, offline or out of network access to encrypted drives and data, and remote password recovery requirements.

  • Password Policy Creation and Enforcement – Administrators can configure minimum password lengths and password character usage requirements, as well as require users to automatically change passwords at regular intervals for encrypted drives, data and email.
  • Policy Based Audit Tracking – The SecurServer™ retains an audit trail of what files are encrypted and stored on the user hard drive, removable drive or email. The audit trail contains meta-data about the files and folders that have been encrypted, from what PCs or servers the files came from, the users that are accessing these files and drives and on which PCs, and the type of user operations being performed with the files (e.g. open, copy, delete, modify, etc.). The Administrator can configure via policy if they want content tracking and event tracking turned on or off based on the trust level of the organization and user group.
  • Master Key Access – An optional master key can be configured so that Administrators can gain access to the encrypted contents of encrypted drives, devices or email, if the employee leaves the company or if an investigation is being conducted.
  • Revoke Access to Lost Drives and Data – if a drive, a CD, or an email is lost or stolen that contains sensitive data, the Administrator can revoke access to the encrypted data through a remote command.
  • Policy Based Re-authorization Interval – the Administrator can set policies about how often the user needs to be online with the protected device in order to communicate its audit trail to the Security Server. When the communication with the Security Server occurs, any pending user revoke access requests are communicated to the flash drive and then the user can no longer access the data.
  • Single Sign On – With the Security Server domain authentication feature, users need not enter a username and password to access protected devices, data and email if logged onto their corporate network. When the user is disconnected from the corporate network, the user must enter their password.
  • Configure Policies for Automatic Drive Encryption – When used in conjunction with our SecurMedia™ software, the Administrator can configure policies related to whether or not any files found in the clear on a drive or device should be automatically encrypted, whether the user should have the choice to not encrypt the drive, if non-encrypted drives should be blocked, and if event tracking for the drive should be enabled.
